This cow was shot 2 weeks ago. The calf was dead, but the cow is good but tired.
It must have been struggling for couple of days. She was found standing in water, probably in response to fever 🤷🏼♂️. And the smell was not the smell of spring!
This took about 2 hours.

Did you just tie the rope around head or both front feet as well?

I tied a rope around one leg, which came off because it was rotten, then around head.
I had a tear after pulling, but it was soft tissue so easy to suture closed.
The calf was lying on its back.
It's the first time that I have ever seen this.
